In 2023, the Albert & Malca Pasternak Mitzvah Grant is available and will be awarded to a Bar/Bat Mitzvah student at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills.
The application consists of sending by E-mail or regular mail an essay of 150 words maximum on the subject of “WHY A BAR/BAT MITZVAH IS IMPORTANT TO ME”.
The winner will be awarded $250.00 and Temple Emanuel will also receive a matching gift of $250.00. The deadline for the program is December 1, 2023 and the Grant will be presented January 1, 2024.
